トーキョーワンダーサイトは2001年より「メイキング・サイト」をキーワードとして、若手作家への実験の場を提供しています。2006年11月にはTWS青山：クリエーター・イン・レジデンスを開始し、展覧会のみならず滞在制作をサポートしています。

今回、新たに展覧会の交換だけでなく、滞在制作というプロセスの交換も試みるという目的で、シドニーのARTSPACE Visual Arts Centreとの連携をスタート。日本とオーストラリアの若手作家8名6組が同時進行で展開していく滞在制作プロジェクトに加え、展覧会交換プログラムとして本展を開催します。

「都市のディオラマ」と題し、見えない日常の真相にかたちを授ける日豪6組のアーティストたち。日豪のアーティストたちがスタジオ共用を通してどのような共鳴を起こすのか。ご期待ください。
